Today, I'm taking a look at the April 3rd, 2022, episode of the Teachers Off Duty podcast, available on Spotify and other podcast hosting sites. In case you couldn't tell this podcast is primarily humorous in nature. It has the feeling of being in the teachers' lounge while fellow teachers' dish about some of their most surprising and generally hilarious stories. Most of the stories from this episode relate to misbehavior or misunderstandings from students, like the student who taped his vape to the bottom of a straw placed in a beverage cup. The show feels a little bit like a guilty pleasure, but this content can be useful for new or aspiring teachers who want to have a sense of what they may potentially run into on their journey to implement classroom management.
